José Miguel Morales Fernández, PhD Sudent

José Miguel is PhD student at University of Granada (Spain) where he is developing his thesis under the supervision of PhD Leandro L. Di Stasi and PhD Samuel Romero. He holds BSc (2014) and MSc (2015) degrees in computer engineering, both from the University of Granada (Spain). Since 2015 he is member of Neuroergonomics & Operator Performance Lab. His work has been focused on road safety, applying eye-movements and EEG techniques to develop a low-cost and non-intrusive device to detect operator´s fatigue while driving. He is the author of some research papers published in international high-impact journals

In this workshop he will speak about the research that he carries out in the field of road safety and he will perform a brief demo of low-cost eye-tracking technologies.
